Hanmer Holiday House

History of the house

The Hanmer house was bought by MOA in 2015.

Built in 1997, it is a relocated well maintained 3 bedroom house with a secure yard and large storage shed. The living area is open plan with a heat pump so even on the coldest day the whole house can be piping hot if so desired!


About the House

Sleeping Facilities: The Hanmer Springs house comfortably sleeps eight guests and is configured as follows:

  • The master bedroom accommodates two people in a Queen bed.

  • The second bedroom accommodates two people in a bunk set + two people in a double fold down sofa bed (recommended for children) which can be moved to the living room if necessary.

  • The third bedroom accommodates two people in a double bed

Dogs: No dogs are permitted in the house. You can let you dog run around in the fully fenced yard when you are there, but please tie up your dog when you go away. Please clean up after your dog. No unleashed dogs are permitted outside the house grounds. You may want to leave your dog at home rather than keep it tied up when you are not at the house.

Facilities

  • There are a couple of mountain bikes available to use. They are stored in the shed. There is a bike pump if you need to pump up the tyres

  • A large three burner BBQ is available to use. BBQ utensils should be kept in the kitchen

  • A large folding sun umbrella and stand is also available to use to keep that harsh sun off the deck area. it is kept in the shed

  • There is a garden hose usually found around the front of the house

Lawns: The lawn is mowed by Geens Garden Services. A condition of your hire is that you allow Geens unimpeded access to the property to carry out the lawn mowing. Please keep children and dogs out of harm's way. Thank you.
